Based in Wisconsin, Spraytech Insulators has been sealing homes and creating energy-efficient spaces for the past three years. Founded by Caleb Estudzinski and his business partner, the company specializes in residential spray foam insulation while offering a full range of insulation services for commercial and residential projects.
Caleb’s path to business ownership was anything but conventional. Dissatisfied with his career as an electrician, he started researching ways to make more money and secure his financial future. “I realized most millionaires are business owners,” he shares. After experimenting with powder coating and learning the spray foam business as a side hustle, Caleb jumped at the chance to purchase equipment from a friend who moved out of state. Teaming up with a high school friend in a similar position, Spraytech Insulators was born.
Starting a business comes with its hurdles, but Spraytech faced an extraordinary challenge just one month in—a spray foam rig burned down, resulting in a total loss. Caleb credits a Facebook community, “Spray Foam World Wide,” for helping him rebuild. “It’s a great group of people who really supported us during a tough time,” he says.
Spraytech Insulators has achieved significant milestones in its short time in business, including acquiring a second commercial property. “Still being in business after three years feels like a big success,” Caleb notes. Beyond business achievements, helping customers save money on energy costs remains a rewarding aspect of their work.
With an annual revenue target of $600,000, Caleb is focused on steady, sustainable growth. By narrowing the service area to the Fox River Valley, including Green Bay and Appleton, Spraytech aims to build a strong local presence.
Caleb envisions growing Spraytech to capture a solid market share in Wisconsin. “I don’t want to be a giant corporation, but I’d like to have a decent footprint,” he shares.
Caleb offers this advice to aspiring business owners: “Be patient and wise with your purchases. Find quality equipment for cheap and avoid overextending yourself financially. And be ready to work hard—it takes more money and hours than you might expect.”
